CALL FOR POSTER ABSTRACTS NOW OPEN – PARTNERSHIPS FOR BETTER HEALTH 2019

SUBMISSION DEADLINE 15^th JULY, 2019

We are pleased to inform you of the upcoming Partnerships for Better Health International Symposium which will be held at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney on 29-30 August 2019.

The future of healthcare will come together in Darling Harbour at this international gathering of influential minds. We invite people from every discipline, industry, and country to join us as we challenge, innovate and share ideas about moving healthcare forward, from where it is to where we imagine it to be. Join the future-makers and imagine what could be.

Do you want to present your innovative work and initiatives about how to improve health care? The Call for Abstracts for the Symposium is now open. Please submit your abstracts using the link here.

This is a great opportunity to build our knowledge on how health partnerships improve aspects of patient care.

Abstracts should be in English, with a maximum of 250 words. Please use single spacing and Times New Roman, 12-point font. Abstracts should provide a brief description of research objectives, methodology, lessons learned and implications. Please do not include any charts, bibliographies or footnotes.

Timeline:

Deadline for abstracts submission	15^th July 2019
Abstracts to be reviewed by the scientific committee	31^st July 2019
Notification for successful abstracts	1^st August 2019

Abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific committee. It is anticipated that all original abstracts around the symposium theme will be accepted and displayed. Successful authors will be offered a poster presentation.

Poster Abstract Submission, Poster Requirements & Terms & Conditions

Poster requirements

Posters must no larger than 1m wide x 1m high (poster can be smaller).
Posters should be typed in clear print that can be easily read from distances over one metre with the title displayed in block capitals at the top of the poster. The title should also display the names of the author(s) and the institution(s) of origin.
Contents should contain the research objectives, methodology, lessons learned and implications.
All content should be simple and not overburdened with detail – “minimising detail maximises information transfer”.

Poster Presenters: Terms and conditions

When submitting for a poster presentation, the Author/s is agreeing to attend the Poster Viewing session at Partnerships for Better Health 2019 Symposium.
All posters must be mounted by the author (or representative) between 8 am and 11.30 am on 29th August and removed between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm on 30th August 2019.
Submission of an abstract implies the author(s) agreement to publish the abstract in the conference program.
The submission of an abstract carries with it the obligation that it is presented at the Partnerships for Better Health Symposium by the author.
All abstracts selected will be published in the Partnerships for Better Health Symposium Program which will be available for download from the website.
Once submitted, the abstract cannot be edited. Please ensure that all details are correct before submitting. Abstracts will be published exactly as received and should be checked for spelling and grammar prior to submission.
A sub-committee of the Partnerships for Better Health Symposium will be responsible for evaluating abstracts and reserves the right to allocate presentations according to the program.
